The story, as filed
Scott was six foot three by the tenth grade and was known for doing announcements in the voices of the faculty. He was not known for the guitar until he brought it to the closet.
He played choppy, short parts and switched to bass synthesizer when the song needed the floor to move. He practiced more than anyone in the band and told no one.
He stood in the closet doorway because there was no room inside for someone his height. Most of the band photographs place him there.
The 1986 basement show was at his house. His father appeared at the top of the stairs. The band considers this its most important review.
Now. Sells insurance in Naperville. Plays guitar in a Sunday morning church band. Still owns the tie.
